
Beech Wood
Beechwood has a close uniform texture, with the wood is classified as strong, heavy, hard, highly suitable for steam bending, and high resistance to shock. Most beech is used for woodenware, handles, veneer, brush blocks, furniture, containers, flooring, and cooperage. In the case of treatment with preservatives, beech is suitable for railway ties. Beech machines smoothly; however, they shrink substantially, requiring careful drying.
